Head of Supply Chain Information Risk, Pinsent Masons
As Head of Supply Chain Information Risk at the international law firm Pinsent Masons, Mike has demonstrated exceptional expertise in developing and implementing a robust methodology and process to manage supply chain and third-party information risk. His global responsibilities extend to overseeing client-related information security assurance matters and obligations. In this capacity, he communicates the firm’s comprehensive information security framework and controls to address the diverse needs of an extensive client base, many of whom operate within regulated environments.
Before joining Pinsent Masons, Mike made significant contributions during his tenure at Iron Mountain. Initially tasked with expanding the ISO27001 certification scope within the UK, he subsequently assumed responsibility for regulatory compliance and customer-focused information security across Europe and Asia.
Mike’s early career unfolded within the security landscape of the Home Office, where he held a range of roles ranging from prison administration to analytical positions at the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA). His eleven-year tenure there culminated in specialization in South Asian political, human rights and security matters for the immigration service.
