With the world moving towards digital signal management AV users need to be able to easily adapt from analog VGA to HDMI for switching, distribution, and long-distance transmission. The TC2-VGAHDMI2 combines analog VGA and audio signals from a computer and digitizes them into one HDMI signal. It is HDCP 1.1 compliant to ensure quick successful handshakes between display and source devices. The USB cable is for supplementary power if the power on the HDMI cable from the display is not sufficient. The minijack and USB cables can easily reach the other side of the laptop if necessary.
