Product Information
The SRX550 services gateway delivers a single, consolidated, advanced branch networking and security platform with ten built-in GbE ports, two mini-PIM slots, and six GPIM or XPIM slots for unmatched modularity and flexibility.Supported WAN interfaces include T1/E1, serial, ADSL2/2+, VDSL, G. SHDSL, and DS3/E3. The SRX550 can also support up to 52 Ethernet ports including SFP; 40 PoE or PoE+ ports, and 10GbE.Security and UTM services include best class antivirus, antispam, enhanced Web filtering, intrusion prevention system, AppSecure, unified access control, and content filtering. The SRX550 is ideally suited for medium to large branch locations that require full secure connectivity over private and public WANs.
- Application level security
AppSecure is a suite of application-aware security services that classify traffic flows, bringing greater visibility, enforcement, control and protection to network security. AppSecure uses advanced classification techniques to decode and identify applications including Web 2.0 encrypted and nested applications that run within trusted protocols such as HTTP. - Network security segmentation
Security zone, virtual LANs (VLANs), IPSec VPNs and virtual routers allow administrators to tailor security and networking policies for various internal, external, and demilitarized zone (DMZ) subgroups. - Scalable performance
Dynamic Services Architecture means that the SRX series can take advantage of services with appropriate processing capabilities without sacrificing overall system performance. - System and network resiliency
Carrier-class reliability based on features ranging from redundant hardware and components to Junos software. - Interface flexibility
Flexible I/O configuration and independent I/O scalability to meet the needs of virtually any network environment. - Network segmentation
Security zone, virtual LANs (VLANs), and virtual routers allow administrators to tailor security and networking policies for various internal, external, and demilitarized zone (DMZ) subgroups. - Robust routing engine
Carrier-class routing engine provides physical and logical separation of data and control planes to allow deployment of consolidated routing and security devices and ensure the security of routing infrastructures. - Comprehensive threat protection
Integrated security features and services include a multigigabit firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, denial of service, network address translation, and quality of service.
