Dell calculates the Product Carbon Footprint of every product it manufactures, using that data to identify opportunities to reduce emissions with each new generation. PCs, displays and peripherals are engineered to consume less energy whilst maintaining productivity, and Dell leads the industry in data centre cooling innovation through air cooling, liquid cooling and heat capture technologies.

Dell's approach to energy efficiency extends to the data centre itself, where denser technology and simplified data storage architectures reduce both the physical and carbon footprint of enterprise infrastructure.
