How Logitech integrates sustainability into product development
Logitech actively integrates Design for Sustainability (DfS) principles into both new product development and the refreshing of existing product lines. As a design-led company, Logitech recognises that the most significant opportunities to minimise environmental impact arise early in the design process.
A dedicated team of engineers with expertise in carbon impact guides product decisions. Environmental and social considerations are evaluated from the sourcing of raw materials right through to end-of-life disposal.
Today, two out of three Logitech products incorporate Next-Life Plastics, post-consumer recycled plastic sourced from electronic waste that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. Many products also use lower-carbon materials and are shipped in FSC-certified packaging.

In January 2024, Logitech announced that all video collaboration devices running on CollabOS would be manufactured with Next-Life Plastics, helping enterprise customers directly support their sustainability goals.
