SDG12: Responsible Consumption and Production

With a goal to become circular by 2040, Trust has developed a three-step plan to increase our responsible consumption and production. Firstly, we are committed to using sustainable materials wherever we can in our products and packaging, from PCR plastics to FSC®-certified carton. Secondly, we ensure that as much of our products and packaging itself is easy to recycle, for instance by replacing PVC plastic and foam with other materials that are easier to recycle. Finally, our products are designed to be durable, maximising the lifespan of the product and ensuring less resources are used on replacing products.

SDG13: Climate Action

We are aiming for carbon neutrality by 2030 with regards to our operations. In order to achieve this, we are focusing both on reducing the impact of our company and our products. When it comes to the company, we are working on the reduction of our energy use, for instance by using 100% renewable energy in our offices and using only EV and hybrid cars for our car fleet. In our products, we ensure the use of recycled and renewable materials, and have also optimised our packaging to allow for more items to be shipped per pallet and container, resulting in less materials used and a reduction of overall transport.

Three-time EcoVadis Gold Medal winner

We are a three-time winner of the EcoVadis Gold Medal, an achievement which places us in the top 5% of sustainable companies and the top 2% of companies in our industry. To achieve a high rating, companies must demonstrate a robust environmental management system, strong social responsibility practices, adherence to high ethical standards, and effective sustainable procurement processes; qualities which Trust is pleased to have maintained for three years in a row.
